For Chris & Ana’s Smokehouse, that beginning was not in a restaurant, a food trailer, or a commercial kitchen. It began nearly two decades ago beside a weathered offset smoker in Texas, fueled by curiosity, patience, and a desire to learn the craft of authentic barbecue.

What started as an invitation to cook ribs for friends quickly became a lifelong pursuit of mastering the traditions of Texas and Southern barbecue. Countless hours spent tending fires, selecting hardwoods, experimenting with seasoning blends, and learning from each cook revealed that barbecue is far more than preparing food—it is a discipline built on patience, consistency, and respect for tradition.

Those lessons continue to shape every decision made within Chris & Ana’s Smokehouse today. This company was not founded simply to serve meals. It was founded to create memorable experiences, strengthen community, and build a business grounded in integrity, craftsmanship, and hospitality.
